Search Engine Optimisation On a Budget - Part 1
If you are looking to start a successful SEO campaign, you might find that you are feeling limited by any number of factors. For most, the big roadblocks standing in the way of success are lack of money, lack of knowledge, or lack of time. If you are feeling the pinch in any of these three areas, here are three strategies you should still be able to put into place.
Add Quality Content
If you expect your website to be a success in the search engine ranking war, you will need to have content on the site. Keep in mind that the quality of the content is far more important than the quantity. It isn’t necessary to add a lot of new content to the site. In fact, this will only result in having a great deal of useless and even repetitive information appear on your site. In the long run, this will actually hurt your SEO campaign.
Make sure the content you add to your site is relevant and includes a number of keywords that are related to your web pages and the site as a whole. When creating content, you should ask yourself the following questions:
- Will my existing clients or customers find this information to be useful?
- Will new visitors to my site find this information to be useful?
- Will other webmasters be interested in adding a link to my site on their websites?
If you cannot honestly answer “yes” to each of these questions, it is time to revisit the content you are adding to your site. Otherwise, you are just wasting your time with the content you have.
